Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is a mixed bag with positives like a lovely view of the Hassan mosque and great restaurants complemented by areas needing improvement. The rooms are clean, stylish, comfortable, and well-appointed but some are in poor working order. Service fluctuates between unresponsive staff looking through glass doors to very friendly and helpful individuals assisting with taxi arrangements. The location is the heart of the action, great for some amenities but noisy at times. Dining offers a variety of international and local cuisine to keep you going all day, yet lacking in some aspects. Overall, the experience is a blend of highs and lows.
My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The separate room with only a toilet was very uncomfortable and had a terrible smell. The service was subpar unless you tipped, and the breakfast lacked variety. The location was not practical, and the concierge did not address issues promptly, leading to a frustrating experience with taxi drivers delaying us on our way to the airport. I would not recommend this hotel.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were slightly above average with nice decor, but the smell of smoke was off-putting. The service was a mix of exceptional friendliness and rudeness, making for a bit of a mixed experience. The location, while great for access to transportation, was criticized for being impractical and uncomfortable. The dining options were varied and enjoyable.
The hotel offers rooms overlooking the old Medina, good food, and even a Moroccan cabaret in the Moroccan restaurant. Some rooms face the famous Hassan II Mosque, the 5th largest in the world, and the world's second-tallest minaret at 210 meters. However, it was challenging to find the hotel, and the rooms had a stale smoke smell; opening the window only meant hearing road noise from outside.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were good, with a great bath and shower, although there was a slight smell of stale smoke that could be aired out by opening the window, which unfortunately let in some road noise. The service was excellent, especially with names like Houmiri, Hamdi El Khaoua, and Abdellah standing out. However, I did have a negative experience with inflated taxi fares. The location was good, close to Casa Port train station, although the reception staff could have been a bit more welcoming. The dining options were varied and satisfactory, with plenty to choose from. Overall, a decent experience with some minor drawbacks.
